Christiane Seufferlein is a craft mediator in the textile sector and researches the history of linen textiles in Austria and internationally. Her focus is on hand spinning, dyeing with natural materials and fibre production in general. In addition to her company Faser und Farbe, she is chairwoman of the flax guild "Bertas Flachs" and in this context collects material and women's stories from her adopted home in the Mühlviertel. She lives with her husband and daughter in the upper Mühlviertel region
